Blaze Sparks At Yorktown Heights Restaurant
A blaze at a Northern Westchester restaurant was stopped from being worse than it could have been thanks to the quick actions of firefighters. The fire happened on Monday, June 6 just after 2:30 a.m. at Coral Seafood Restaurant in Yorktown Heights at 63 Route 6, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department, which helped respond to the blaze. Thanks to the work of fire crews, more extensive damage to the building was prevented, the department said. The cause of the fire was not released.

Driver Killed In Sayreville Crash
A driver was killed in a Saturday, June 8 crash in Sayreville, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 12:15 a.m. on Cheesequake Road, according to New Jersey State Police fatal crash data. A two-car crash on the Montgomery-Bucks county line injured four people over the weekend, according to Hatfield police. Authorities said it happened at Bergery Road and Bethlehem Pike around 5 p.m. Saturday, June 8. A 2011 Ford Escape driven by a 20-year-old man collided with a 2021 Toyota Camry driven by a 58-year-old man at the intersection, police said. Police Probe 'Non-Suspicious' Death In Arlington
Police in Arlington were investigating a "non-suspicious" death on Sunday, June 9. A man was found dead outside on the 700 block of 12th Street South around 11:20 a.m., police tell Daily Voice. Based on the preliminary investigation, the death does not appear suspicious and there is no ongoing threat to the community, police said. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.

No injuries were reported after a tractor barreled down a steep hill and into a Carlstadt home. A South Brunswick family is safe after escaping a fire that destroyed their home. South Brunswick police responded at 7:45 p.m. Saturday to a report of a home on fire at 4 Beryl Court in the Kendall Park section of the Township. A Toms River man was critically injured when he fell off his motorcycle and was hit by a car, authorities said. A 23-year-old man has been arrested in a Leesburg burglary, police said. Kelvin Lainez-Cardena is believed to have stolen landscaping equipment from a landscaping company on Cardinal Park Drive SE, local police said. The incident was reported to police around 1 a.m. on April 1, police said. The equipment was recovered from a property in the 21000 block of Pon Farr Court in Leesburg. Warminster police are looking for two suspects in an armed robbery. The pictured men walked into the 1483 W Street Road 7-Eleven just after midnight on Saturday, June 8, authorities said. Authorities have released more information about a fatal crash on a busy New York road that left a New Jersey man dead. Peter Leist, 62, of Denville, NJ was heading west on Route 301 in Carmel, NY, when he crossed over the double yellow lines to pass a few vehicles and collided head-on with a small bus, around 2:10 p.m. Friday, May 31, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said.
