20-Year-Old Woman Admits Driving 100 MPH In Double-Fatal West Hempstead Crash
A 20-year-old Long Island woman has pleaded guilty to speeding through a red light and crashing into a dump truck, killing two.
Nylah Frazier, age 20, of West Hempstead, entered her plea for the 2021 crash on Thursday, Feb. 8, according to the Nassau County District Attorney.
At around 1 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, Frazier was driving her BMW X3 north on Westminster Road in West Hempstead with two passengers: Amanda Arguinzoni, age 17, and Kurtis Caesar, age 19.

Woman Hit, Killed At West Hempstead Intersection
A woman died after being struck by a vehicle in a Long Island intersection, authorities said.
It happened on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at approximately 6:50 a.m. in West Hempstead, according to Nassau County Police.
Cathy Leary, age 75, was crossing Cornwell Avenue at the intersection of Wildwood Road when she was struck by a 2019 Hyundai SUV that was traveling east on Cornwell Avenue.
Leary, a resident of West Hempstead, was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
The driver, who was 19 years old, remained at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
West Hempstead Man Exposes, Touches Himself In Front Of Teens: Police
A Long Island man has been arrested after police said he exposed and touched himself in front of a group of teen girls, the youngest being 13.
The incidents allegedly occurred on Tuesday, Oct. 17, and Wednesday, Oct. 18, according to Nassau County Police.
Fuentes Lozano, age 24, of West Hempstead, approached three girls — aged 13, 14, and 17 — while exposing himself and touching his genitals.
The girls ran away from Lozano and told their parents.

On Monday, Aug. 21, 22-year-old Marcquise Porter was arrested for his involvement in the Uniondale disturbance, which happened two days prior, Nassau County Police said.

A 6-year-old girl has died and five others were injured when an SUV crashed into a car parked on the Hempstead Turnpike, officials announced.
It happened on Monday, Aug. 7 in West Hempstead, according to Nassau County Police.
