A Lakewood man admitted to selling cocaine and committing an armed carjacking, authorities said.
Harold Galloway, 53, pleaded guilty to three charges on Monday, Apr. 22, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer announced in a news release. His guilty pleas were for possession of more than one-half ounce but less than five ounces of crack cocaine, certain person not to possess a firearm, and carjacking.

A Hudson Valley man is behind bars after being busted with alleged cocaine, fentanyl, and other drugs during a search of an area motel room.
Dutchess County resident James R. Scott, age 35, of the city of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Tuesday, June 20 following an investigation by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force.
The task force has been actively investigating the sale of cocaine, fentanyl, and other drugs in the Dutchess County area, said Det. Sgt. Adam D. Harris, of the task force.

Four suspects were charged after a month-long investigation led to the discovery of meth, cocaine, and other drugs in Warren County, authorities said.
Shawn Hopper, 50, and Aysha Aguilu, 32, were charged with second-degree possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine, distributing methamphetamine, and other drug offenses, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said in a Monday release with local officials.

Six people were arrested on Long Island after police conducted a search and allegedly found an assault rifle, drugs, and drug paraphernalia.
The arrest took place around midnight on Wednesday, Oct. 27 in New Cassel, said the Nassau County Police.
According to Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives, members conducted a search warrant at 52 4th Avenue.

They walked up and drove by at all hours to buy drugs outside a Paterson home just up the street from a child care center, authorities said.
Responding to complaints, city narcotics detectives nabbed Hopper Street resident Valerie A. Thomas, 57, while seizing 3,872 heroin folds, 17 baggies of crack cocaine, and $4,647 in drug money, Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale said.
Hopper lives in the first-floor apartment of the home where Speziale said she plied her illegal trade. Detectives watched awhile before obtaining search and arrest warrants, he said.

An accused drug dealer from Pennsylvania was charged after allegedly ramming two state police cars and hitting a trooper during a Monday afternoon chase through Northampton County, authorities said.
