A skull found in 2020 has been DNA matched to a woman who went missing in 2007, the Dauphin County District Attorney Fran Chardo told Daily Voice on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
Heike Leich was 47 when she wandered away from the home she shared with her common-law husband, Jonathan Hawthorne, in the 7900 block of Fishing Creek Valley Road in West Hanover Township at 7:30 p.m. on August 8, 2007, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.

Authorities have identified the two men who died in a crash along US 22 on Friday, March 18, according to a report by PennLive.
Stephen McLeroy, 67, of Lower Paxton Township, and Devin Messina, 30, of Derry Township, were in a silver 2003 Ford Escape SUV with four other people when the crash occurred on the 7000 block of the roadway in Harrisburg, according to the outlet and state officials.
Four other occupants were hurt and hospitalized for treatment, according to the outlet.

Pennsylvania State Trooper Fatally Shoots Man With Knife, Police Say
A man was shot dead by a Pennsylvania State Trooper, according to police.
Glenn William Custer, 59, died at the scene of the shooting on Sunday, Pennsylvania state police said in a statement released on Monday morning.
Police were called to a domestic dispute at a home on Gilberg Lane in West Hanover Township, Dauphin County just after 5 p.m., according to the release.
When troopers arrived, Custer was acting erratically while holding a knife, as stated in the release.

PA Ex-Con Arrested For Murder While On Parole For Attempting To Murder His Brother: Authorities
A man on parole after pleading guilty to attempted homicide, has been charged with the murder of his former neighbor.
Daniel Edward Caraballo, 32, of Harrisburg, has been charged with the death of Jermaine L. Gould, 41, of York.
Gould was shot in the 700 block of south 2nd Street in Steelton around 6:45 p.m., as Daily Voice reported at the time.
He later died of his injuries at Harrisburg Hospital.
