'Senseless' Rush Hour Gunmen In DC Kill One, Injure Three Others, Including Boy, Police Say
The rash of gun violence in Washington, DC hit a new peak as a pair of gunmen opened fire in the middle of the afternoon commute and struck four people, including a child.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department were called shortly before 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3, to the 6200 block of Georgia Avenue in Northwest, DC, when shots rang out not far from an area police station, Chief Robert Contee said during a news briefing.

Two ID'd In Central PA Targeted Shooting: Police
Two people died in what is believed to have been a targeted shooting on Sunday, according to the police.
Shawn Hairston, 35, and Ana Scott, 42 were found shot in a home in the first block of 16th Street, Harrisburg Mar. 13, around 4:30 p.m., according to city police.
They were both critically injured and later died from they're injuries at a local hospital, police say.
Scott's community has been sharing about it's loss on Facebook, one family member wrote:

Middle School Student Targeted In Deadly Shooting ID'd By DA
A 13-year-old boy was killed in what is believed to have been a targeted shooting, as stated at a press conference held by Lebanon County officials.
Jason “Jay” Rivera, of Lebanon, was shot in the 300 block of Vine Street in South Lebanon Township, Lebanon County on Tuesday night, the district attorney said at the conference on Thursday.
Rivera died at Hershey Medical Center later that night, the DA said.
His family remembers him as a happy, loving boy who liked football, baseball, sneakers, playing Fortnight, and drawing, the DA and his family said at the conference.
