3 Charged In Fentanyl Overdose Death On Jersey Shore
Three people have been arrested in a fatal fentanyl overdose earlier this fall at the Jersey Shore, authorities said.
Michael Wormann, 38 of Toms River, Ryan Thompson, 35, of Trenton, and Tina Martinez, 61, also of Trenton, were charged with strict liability drug-induced death in connection with the fatal overdose of a 55-year-old man in Berkeley Township, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.

A 32-year-old man from Trenton has been charged with storing and selling heroin in that city and in Central Jersey, authorities said.
About 1,800 wax folds of heroin, fentanyl pills, a high-powered rifle, two handguns and $9,000 were seized during raids on two Trenton homes and a hotel in South Brunswick, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
This cooperative, multi-agency investigation identified the two residences and the hotel room as being utilized by Aramis Wiggins, 32, of Trenton, to store and distribute heroin, Billhimer said.

A 22-year-old Lakewood man faces 11 years in New Jersey State Prison after admitting to dealing cocaine, authorities said.
Denaire Bowen, 22, of Lakewood, pleaded guilty to drug dealing and possession charges on April 13, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
On Dec. 17, 2020, Lakewood police's Street Crimes Unit performed a traffic stop on a vehicle being driven by Bowen. During the stop, Bowen was found to be in possession of more than one-half ounce of cocaine, packaged for resale, Billhimer said.

Brick Police Make Multiple Drug Arrests In Crackdown
A half dozen drug suspects were arrested by Brick Township police in recent sweeps, authorities said.
On Wednesday, March 16, at about 11 p.m., Brick Street Crimes Unit detectives, working with the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, stopped a vehicle on Lanes Mill Road. An investigation led to the arrest of all three occupants with multiple drug charges.

Responding to complaints from residents, police investigating suspected heroin deals from a home in Ocean County made two arrests.
On March 3, detectives from the Berkeley Township Police Department, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, and the Ocean Gate Detective Bureau made four warranted searches at a Fernwood Drive residence including three separate vehicles connected to the investigation, police said.

Four New Jersey residents were arrested for distributing heroin, fentanyl and cocaine following an investigation involving nearly a dozen law enforcement agencies, authorities said Thursday.
Kevin Collins, 37, and Daysha Kelly, 35, operated out of a Pine Beach home, while Elex Hyman, 49, and Jamie Steen, 38, used a Lakewood home, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.

More than 40,000 pills were discovered in the home of a Jersey Shore couple arrested this week in a statewide opioid distribution scheme, authorities announced on Wednesday.
Jason Maxson, 50, and Laurie Maxson, 51 -- who are married -- used their Barnegat home to store and distribute pain medication across New Jersey, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
Detectives on Tuesday, July 20 surveilled the home as both Jason and Laurie got into a 2021 Honda Accord and drove off, the prosecutor said. Authorities stopped the pair, who were arrested without incident.

Law enforcement agents arrested seven people and seized heroin, ecstasy thousands of dollars in cash, and a firearm following a massive Ocean County drug bust, authorities said.
Detectives from several SWAT teams and law enforcement agencies executed search warrants were executed March 31 at two Toms River homes and a room at the Ocean view Inn, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.

Brick Man, 34, Faces 7 Years State Prison On Weapons, Drug Dealing Charges
A 34-year-old man from Brick Township admitted to dealing drugs and carrying a handgun, authorities said.
Jahmal Jones pleaded guilty on Tuesday before Superior Court Judge Rochelle Gizinski, Ocean County First Assistant Prosecutor Michael T. Nolan, Jr. said.
Detectives from Barnegat and Lakewood townships police departments assisted in the investigation, searches and arrests, Nolan said.
Jones faces up to seven years in state prison on the charges with parole eligibility after five years, Nolan said. His sentencing date had not been set, he said.

The Ocean County SWAT Team seized more than two pounds of cocaine, loaded weapons, cash and other drugs from a pair of suspected dealers, authorities said.
Victor Mendoza-Gutierrez, 24, of Manchester, and Jose Quintero, 36, of Brick, were arrested after a search of their homes turned up multiple loaded firearms, more than a kilo of cocaine, 20 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, paraphernalia indicative of drug sales, a high-end security system and about $30,000 in cash, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D.
