An elderly driver hit a pedestrian at an intersection in Longport, authorities said. The crash happened at the intersection of Atlantic and 27th avenues at around 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14, the Longport Police Department said in a news release. Driver Injured After Car Overturns On Hudson Valley Roadway
A driver was hospitalized following a rollover crash on a busy Hudson Valley road. The crash happened in Putnam County on Monday afternoon, July 22, when an Acura flipped on Milltown Road in the village of Brewster near the Connecticut border, according to the Brewster Fire Department. Arriving first responders found the driver trapped inside the vehicle and were able to free her before taking her to Danbury Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The crash closed Milltown Road on Monday as the scene was cleared, the department said.

Leesburg Pike Reopens Following Fatal Crash In Fairfax County Intersection
A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a driver near a busy intersection in Fairfax County on Saturday morning, police say. Officers were called before 5 a.m. on July 20 to the area of Leesburg Pike and Downey Drive in Great Falls, where a woman was hit by a car, which remained at the scene.
