A 19-year-old man faces several charges after firing shots on a public street in Westchester, damaging storefronts in the process, officials announced.
Port Chester resident Tyshawn Watkins, age 19, was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 22 in connection with an incident on Friday, Nov. 17 in Mount Vernon, Mount Vernon Director of Communications Timothy Allen said.

A 22-year-old man with no police record has been charged with the attempted murder of an NYPD officer from Long Island.
Devin Spraggins, a transient who has several addresses in the Bronx, was apprehended by US Marshals and New York Police detectives around 9 p.m., Thursday, April 6, for the attempted murder of NYPD Officer Brett Boller, age 22, of Hauppauge on Wednesday, April 5, said NYPD Chief of Detectives James Essig.
Boller, a rookie and the son of Don Boller, a homicide detective with the NYPD for some 30 years, was shot in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens, NYPD said.

Man Charged With Shooting Of 2 Men At Hudson Valley Restaurant
A Hudson Valley man has been charged with attempted murder in the shooting of two men inside an area restaurant.
The incident took place in Rockland County on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, in Haverstraw at the P&D Seafood restaurant at 9 Main St.
Haverstraw police responded to the area of 9 Main St., on a report of shots fired in the area, said Capt. John Gould Jr., of the Haverstraw Police.
During an investigation, it was determined that two men were shot inside the restaurant, Gould said.

Suspect In Custody After Two Women Found Stabbed Inside Long Island Residence
A man is in custody after two women were found stabbed inside a Long Island residence.
Officers responded to a disturbance in North Lawrence, on Caryl Drive, at around 5:15 a.m. on Friday, May 13, Nassau County Police said.
Officers located the two female victims, ages 18 and 48, who had sustained multiple stab wounds, according to police.
They then began to engage in life-saving techniques to the two victims and they were transported by Nassau County Police Ambulances to a nearby hospital for assessment and treatment, said police.

A Long Island man is facing a host of charges, including attempted murder, after a domestic dispute turned physical and his plan to fire a gun at two men backfired, police said.
In Nassau County, police officers responded to a Roosevelt residence shortly before 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, where there was a report of a disturbance involving a 56-year-old man living in the building.

Man Caught With Assault Weapons, Drugs, Cash In Poughkeepsie Bust
A 49-year-old man was busted with assault weapons, drugs, and cash after police received complaints of drug dealing in the area.
Emory S. Nesbitt of Poughkeepsie was taken into custody around 4 p.m. Wednesday following a raid by members of the Dutchess County Drug Task Force, said Frank Tasciotti, assistant coordinator of the task force.
