Man Broke Into Convenience Store, Stole Cigarettes, Lotto Tickets: Newark PD A man is at large after he broke into a convenience store in Newark and stole cash and other items on Friday, Sept. 13, authorities said. At 3 a.m., the suspect broke into Downneck Convenience Store on Pacific Street, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. The suspect was captured on surveillance video smashing the front glass door with a rock, Fragé said.
