Teen Nabbed For Norwalk Boat Burglaries, Police Say
A 19-year-old Fairfield County man has been charged with allegedly breaking into a marina and two boats, stealing tools and alcohol.
Christopher McClain, of Redding, was charged on Tuesday, June 11, by Norwalk Police for being one of two men who climbed the fence at the Cove Marina on Friday, May 17, to gain access to the docks.
According to Sgt. Ryan Evarts of the Norwalk Police, the two then broke into two docked boats and took tools and alcohol.

Four Thieves Take 50 Items From Designer Handbag Store: Roxbury PD
Four thieves smashed the glass door to break into a designer handbag store in Morris County on Tuesday, June 11, authorities said
At 3:11 a.m., the four suspects broke into Couture Traders, which sells luxury handbags, at 1395 Route 46 West in Ledgewood, the Roxbury Police Department said. The suspects stole 50 items during the break-in, police said.
The store sells handbags from brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Yves Saint Lauren, often priced at hundreds and thousands of dollars. They have an additional location in Las Vegas.
The incident remains under investigation, police said.

A Hudson Valley man will spend the next 25 years in prison for raping and beating a woman twice.
Rockland County resident Rigoberto Lopez Castro, age 26, of Spring Valley, was sentenced on Wednesday, June 5, to a total of 25 years for the two rapes and one count of burglary, said Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E. Walsh II.
On Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, Castro forcibly raped the victim, a woman previously known to him, the DA's office said.

A Hudson Valley man who was charged earlier this month for alleged burglary and was released on an appearance ticket has been arrested again, this time for four new burglaries.
Rockland County resident Dairin Aguirre, age 21, of Spring Valley, was charged with the new crimes on Monday, May 20.

A Cherry Hill man has been sentenced to 40 years in New Jersey State Prison for murdering his ex-wife, authorities said.
