Firefighters Lt. Paul Butrim, Firefighter/Paramedic Kelsey Sadler, EMT/Firefighter Kenny Lacayo and John McMaster became trapped while battling the Jan. 24 row house blaze on West Pratt Street, the Baltimore Fire Department said. The fire started at about 4:30 a.m. in the building at West 22nd Street and Maryland Avenue and quickly spread to the point that flames were shooting out of the roof. Nobody was injured in the blaze, but it took over 100 firefighters to control. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
