For 21 years, Joanie Monroe was a fixture at Fanwood Bagels, to the point she was known as "Joanie Bagels." But now, she's out of a job.
Monroe was recently let go from Fanwood Bagels as new ownership takes over. A fundraiser has been set up to help her deal with the loss of her weekly paycheck. As of Wednesday, May 10, almost $7,000 has been raised.

Central Mass Community Rallies For Tractor-Loving Toddler Battling Cancer
A community in Central Massachusetts is raising money to help the family of a little boy who is battling a form of cancer, according to an online fundraiser.
Taylor Esler, of Worcester, organized a GoFundMe campaign on behalf of her nephew Liam, who turned 3 on Saturday, April 29.
"He loves tractors (LOVES them), cars, dinosaurs, and blocks," Esler wrote on the campaign page. "He also loves his siblings, Carson, Brielle, and Keon."

Melissa Miller is fighting for her life. And the Livingston community is joining her side.
A GoFundMe has been created for Miller, who is battling stage four uterine sarcoma and has been given a 10 percent chance of survival. In just three days, more than $218,000 has been raised, as of Friday, April 28.
Miller, a Livingston resident, is married to her husband Ian, and has two daughters, six-year-old Mia and two-year-old Ava.
