A restaurant in Northern Westchester will soon be closing for good, but not without one last week of fun.
Dog Haus Biergarten Mohegan Lake, located at 3137 East Main St., will permanently close after Sunday, Jan. 14, the restaurant announced on social media.
Although no official reason for the closing was given, in a Facebook comment, the owners wrote, "We truly tried our hardest to make it work."

Man Caught With Stolen Package, Cocaine In Baldwin: Police
A Long Island man is in custody after he was caught on camera stealing a package off of a doorstep — and later was found with the stolen goods and drugs, police said.
It happened on Thursday, Nov. 9 in Baldwin, according to Nassau County Police.
Just before noon that day, Frank Merlo, age 36, was spotted via a Ring doorbell camera swiping a package off the Eastern Parkway porch.

Police are searching for a duo who seemingly attempted to kidnap a young Long Island boy in front of his home.
It happened on Sunday, Oct. 8 in Wantagh, according to Nassau County Police.
The boy, age 7, was standing in front of his home on Jerusalem Avenue when, at approximately 3:45 p.m., a gray Buick Enclave drove up to him, driven by a man.
A woman, who was the passenger in the car, got out and walked up to the boy.

Eighteen people are facing charges in a 148-count indictment following a long-term investigation into gang-related robberies, thefts, and a murder committed on Long Island.
Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney announced the indictment of alleged members of the "No Fake Love" gang, also known as "NFL," on Monday, Dec. 12.
Tierney said the investigation involved 31 separate incidents, including the murder of Jorge Mauricio Sevilla Barrera in December of 2021.

A 54-year-old man was charged after police reported that he robbed a bank on Long Island.
The robbery happened at TD Bank, located at 500 Old Country Road in Plainview, at about 2:45 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 28, the Nassau County Police Department said.
