New Poll Released On Latimer-Bowman Democratic Congressional Primary In Westchester
As the race between Westchester County Executive George Latimer and incumbent Rep. Jamaal Bowman for New York's 16th District seat heats up, an all-new poll is giving a glimpse of who may emerge victorious.
According to a poll conducted by Emerson College Polling/PIX11/The Hill released on Tuesday, June 11, Latimer currently leads Bowman 48 percent to 31 percent. Meanwhile, 21 percent of voters are still undecided.

It looks like New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, an Essex County resident, will have to focus on his day job this fall.
According to NBC News, Rodgers will not be Robert F. Kennedy Jr's running mate in the 2024 presidential election. Kennedy, who is running as an independent, is picking Nicole Shanahan, a Bay Area based attorney.
Rodgers, who owns a home in Cedar Grove, had been considered a finalist for the Veep slot, along with WWE Hall of Famer and former Minnesota governor Jesse "The Body" Ventura and former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard.

Senator John Fetterman Released From Hospital, Staff Says
US Senator representing Pennsylvania John Fetterman has been released from the hospital on Friday, Feb. 10, according to his staff.
"In addition to the CT, CTA and MRI tests ruling out a stroke, his EEG test results came back normal, with no evidence of seizures," communications director, Joe Calvello. "John is looking forward to returning to the Senate on Monday."
Fetterman was being monitored for signs of seizures as on Thursday, Fed. 9, after he "feeling lightheaded," the previous night, according to his staff

Harckham Wins Heated State Senate Race Representing Much Of Northern Westchester
After a tight race, New York State Sen. Peter Harckham, D-Lewisboro, emerged victorious and was reelected to represent District 40, which represents much of the region.
Harckham, who ran against and defeated Republican candidate Gina Arena, was originally elected to the seat in 2018 and 2020 and will now serve a third term representing citizens of the district, which encompasses much of Northern Westchester, Putnam County, and parts of Dutchess County, according to Ballotpedia.
Harckham compiled 64,869 votes (53.3 percent) to 56,937 (46.7 percent) for Arena.
