Drunken Man Looking For Fights On Bus, Aggressive Thief Arrested In Fairfax, Cops Say
Fairfax City police have announced the arrests of two people.
Luis Hernandez, 26, and Youthana Inthirath, 54, were both arrested on June 10, police said.
Hernandez allegedly swiped multiple items from CVS when he was confronted by an employee at the Fairfax Boulevard store, police said. Hernandez punched the employee multiple times, caused extensive damage to the store, and fled with stolen items, according to police.
He was quickly found by officers and charged with felony destruction of property, assault and battery, and petit larceny.

A man who allegedly stole a car, a necklace, and more was caught after he caused a three-car collision that injured two.
The chain of events happened on Friday, May 31, and began in Freeport, according to the Nassau County Police.
Near Broadway and North Columbus Avenue in Freeport, 30-year-old Jarred Sowers allegedly walked up to a 27-year-old woman, grabbed the necklace from her neck, and drove off in a white sedan.

18-Year-Old Duo Rob Garden City Macy's, Police Say
Two teens were nabbed after they allegedly stole items from a Long Island mall, with one resisting arrest, police said.
It happened on Thursday, May 30 in Garden City.
The pair — Kayshawn King and Jeremy Higgins, both 18 — were at the Macy’s in the Roosevelt Field Mall when, just after 6 p.m., they reportedly attempted to steal hidden merchandise.
According to Nassau County Police, a 23-year-old employee tried to stop the teens; as he escorted them back into the store, Higgins attempted to flee.

A Queens man has been arrested after police said he stole cooking oil from multiple businesses on Long Island.
Rabindra Singh, age 47, was nabbed in connection to a series of cooking oil thefts, the Nassau County Police announced on Monday, May 6.
His arrest comes after Singh, who is from Queens, allegedly was caught at Frantoni’s Pizzeria, located at 1928 Hempstead Turnpike, East Meadow, using a power pump and blue hose to siphon cooking oil into his 2012 Ford Econoline van.
Singh was arrested at the scene with no incidents.

A man has been arrested in connection to over a dozen thefts across Long Island, police announced.
Marvin O Morejon Flores, age 35, was arrested on Wednesday, April 17, according to Nassau County Police.
On multiple occasions Morejon Flores, who is from Hempstead, stole from parking meters along Roslyn Road and Jericho Turnpike, an investigation claimed.

A man has been charged in connection with the burglaries of three Hudson Valley synagogues.
Joel Jungries, age 42, of New York City, was arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 23 in connection with the burglaries that took place over two weekends earlier this month in Monsey.
According to Lt. Chris Franklin of the Ramapo Police, Jungries illegally entered and stole property from the synagogues, all located on Monsey Boulevard and Suzanne Drive.
