Bergen Ex-Con Tried Boarding Newark Flight With AR-15, Taser, Fake US Marshal Creds, More: Feds
A convicted felon from Bergen County was seized while trying to bring two rifles, a handgun, a Taser, a switchblade and bogus U.S. Marshals credentials onto a flight from Newark to Fort Lauderdale, federal authorities said.
Seretse Clouden, 42, of Wallington had a .308-caliber DPMS Panther Arms rifle, a 5.56-caliber AR-15 rifle, a .40-caliber Glock 22 handgun and the phony creds -- which bore his name, photograph and a U.S. Marshal badge -- in his checked baggage, the FBI charged in a complaint.

A 28-year-old registered sex offender injured a police officer during a tussle in Lititz, on Wednesday, Nov. 2, authorities say.
Derek Alan Manz fled before Lititz Borough police responded to a 911 call about a domestic disturbance at a home in the 400 Block of West Marion Street at 6:12 p.m., according to a release by the department.
Upon arrival, a woman told them that Manz assaulted and choked her. Her injuries were non-life-threatening, according to the police.

A State's Attorney's Office in Maryland will not be prosecuting a police officer in Frederick for a 2021 fatal incident involving a Taser device, the agency announced.
On Nov. 12, 2021, the Frederick Police Department was called to a residence on Greenleese Drive for an individual behaving erratically. Upon arrival, officers found Daniel Michael Holley, 23, unclothed, sweating profusely, and pacing back and forth.

IDs Released For Officers Involved In Fatal Danbury Shooting
The identities have been released for the two police officers who encountered an armed man at an apartment complex last month and ended up shooting and killing him, as well as wounding his mother.
Regina Guss and Alex Relyea have been identified as the Danbury Police officers involved in the shooting death of Paul Arbitelle, 45, of Danbury, and wounding his mother, Linda Arbitelle, after he threatened them with a knife, said the Connecticut State Police.
