Lansdale drivers can expect detours over the weekend as work begins on the Main Street SEPTA track crossing, officials say. SEPTA workers will be removing and replacing the existing crossing surface, worn ties, and rails through the intersection, according to borough police. Car Crashes Into Gas Pump In Lansdale: Police
Police are investigating a single-car crash in Lansdale on Wednesday night, March 28, authorities say. It happened on the 200 block of North Broad Street around 9 p.m., police said in a release. A BMW-550 was heading north and tried to pass another car on the left but lost control and struck a gas pump at the 291 N. Broad St. Sunoco, officials said. The car was severely damaged but no injuries were reported, according to the release. The Fairmount Fire Company assisted at the scene, police added.

Authorities have named the 57-year-old man who was hit and killed walking across Church Road in Lansdale last month.
