Nypd Busts Lehigh County Dad Of Saquon Barkley With Loaded Gun In Unregistered Corvette
The father of Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley was arrested with a loaded gun in a New York City traffic stop this week, police said.
Police stopped Alibay Barkley, 55, of Whitehall, PA, in a 2019 Chevrolet Corvette with an obstructed license plates that didn't match the car, at East 140 St. and Third Avenue around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, the NYPD said.
An investigation found that Barkley had a loaded gun and that the car was unregistered, police said.

Police in Prince William County are seeking the public's help in tracking down two parents wanted in the death of their 19-month-old son.
Richard Osmin Ascencio, 31, and Jakeline Sanchez, 28, both of Woodbridge, are both wanted for felony child abuse, the county police department said.
Officers were called to their Granby Road home on Jan. 22, 2023 where firefighters found their 19-month-old child unresponsive, police said. The boy was rushed to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police have released their findings into the Dec. 3, 2023 home explosion set by a 56-year-old suspect in Arlington.
Officers were called to James Yoo's home, a duplex on N. Burlington Street, after Yoo fired multiple rounds from a flare gun out of his window, police said.
Yoo barricaded himself inside, prompting a 3-hour and 40-minute standoff that ended in a home explosion, that authorities are now saying was caused by Yoo.
