Gotcha! Arrest Made In Theft Of $62,000 Worth Of Parts From BMW HQ: Woodcliff Lake PD
šØš£ššš§š: Thieves stole and then sold $62,000 worth of parts from vehicles at BMW North Americaās corporate headquarters in Woodcliff Lake, police said in announcing the arrest of a suspect.
Joseph Domenico Varano, 21, of Bloomfield and his cohorts hit the parking lot of the campus off Chestnut Ridge Road near the Garden State Parkway on May 4, Woodcliff Lake Police Chief Stephen Regula said.
Borough police identified Varano and arrested him at his home on Thursday, May 16, with help from Bloomfield police.

Woman Robbed Salvation Army, Assaulted Employee: Newark PD
A woman robbed a Salvation Army in Newark, assaulting an employee on Wednesday, May 15, authorities said.
At 4 p.m., police responded to the Salvation Army Thrift Shop and Donation Center at 74 Pennington St. in Newark on a report of a robbery, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz FragƩ said.
The woman attempted to leave the store with $100 in merchandise without paying for it, so employees locked the door to prevent her from leaving, FragƩ said. The woman shoved an employee to the floor, unlocked the door and fled westbound on Pennington St., FragƩ said.

21-Year-Old Who Assaulted Montville Teens, Fled State, Arrested: Police
Nearly three years after a man allegedly assaulted a pair of teen girls in Connecticut, police have extradited and arrested him.
Carlos Davila, age 21 of New London County was arrested on Wednesday, May 15 for the Montville incident, which occurred in 2021, Connecticut State Police announced.
According to his arrest warrant, Davila (who was 19 at the time) met with two 14-year-old girls near Oakville Elementary School on July 9, 2021.
He had met one of the two girls on Instagram, where he reportedly asked her for explicit pictures, which she did not send. Davila then asked the girl to mā¦
