Target To Lower Prices On 5,000 Items: Here's Where You Can Expect To See Savings
Target announced that it would lower prices on 5,000 "frequently shopped" items in its stores nationwide, the company said in a press release.
Those items include milk, meat, bread, soda, fresh fruit and vegetables, snacks, yogurt, peanut butter, coffee, diapers, paper towels, pet food, and more, the chain said in a Monday, May 20, news release. The new prices will be rolled out throughout the summer.

A cold front will move through the region accompanied by precipitation and followed by a drop in temperatures.
Ahead of the late-day arrival of the front on Wednesday, May 24, skies will be mainly clear, according to the National Weather Service. The high temperature will be in the mid-70s.
A line of showers will accompany the front, with a slight chance of thunderstorms, late Wednesday afternoon into the early evening.

Body Of Boater Found, Friend Remains Missing After Going Over James River Dam
The body of one of two women who went missing on Memorial Day after going over Bosher’s Dam on the James River Dam in Richmond has been found, WSET reports. Her friend, however, remains missing.
The body of Lauren Winstead, 23, was found by the Richmond Fire Department about five miles downstream of the damn around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, the outlet reports.
