New Haven County resident Michael Arthur Miller, of East Haven, died around 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 5, in Oxford. According to the Connecticut State Police, Miller was riding his Harley-Davidson FLHT Classic eastbound on Silano Drive when he entered the Route 188 intersection and was hit by a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup truck traveling southbound. Dump Truck Crash Faulted For Route 24 Closure In Millburn (Update) A passenger car and a dump truck collided on Route 24 in Millburn early Thursday, June 6, authorities said. The Toyota and truck crashed around 6:40 a.m. on the eastbound side of the highway, at milepost 6.9, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said. The incident closed all lanes just after the accident, but they have since reopened, the NJDOT site shows. No injuries were reported and the crash remains under investigation.
