Four pounds of methamphetamine, 42 bricks of heroin, and a slew of other drugs were discovered at a Warren County home, resulting in the arrest of two residents — one who authorities say was the leader of the area’s largest narcotics trafficking network.
Charlie L. Cole, 44, and Shakiera Armstrong, 31, of Phillipsburg, were charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, and marijuana, as well as child endangerment and various weapons offenses, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Jeffrey Bissonnette, 52, of Andover, was seen speeding past other vehicles on Route 46 and driving recklessly on Saturday, August 19, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said in a Wednesday release.

A Warren County man was charged for stealing three offroad vehicles worth more than $10,000 last week, authorities announced Tuesday, May 9.
Christopher R. Gordon, 23, broke into a shed on the 1400 block of Liberty Street in Alpha and stole the vehicles on Thursday, May 4, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said.
Gordon, of the 700 block of South Boulevard in Alpha, was identified via video surveillance footage, which led to the discovery of his own vehicle, the prosecutor added.

A Warren County man has been charged in connection to a series of sexual assaults on a girl spanning five years, authorities said.
Mark Van Grouw, 57, “engaged the victim in multiple sexual acts” between 1990 and 1995 at his home in Blairstown, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said in a joint release Friday.
The abuse began when the victim was 10 years old, Pfeiffer added.

Ronald McKenzie, of Quaback Avenue in Irvington, is accused of shoplifting spools of electrical wiring from Home Depot in Mansfield Township during two incidents in July 2022, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said in a release with local officials on Tuesday, Sept. 13.

Silvana Saleh, of Rose Lane in Hackettstown, told officers that her 2012 Chevy pickup truck was stolen from her barn when she was gone sometime between Friday, April 29 and Sunday, May 1, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said in a release with local officials on Friday, June 3.
