Three people were arrested after breaking into a vehicle and stealing items on Thursday, Nov. 2, Summit police said.
At 5:14 p.m., police responded to Blackburn Place after a resident their purse and two mobile phones were taken from an unlocked Toyota Highlander parked in the driveway., officers said.

Two people were arrested in Bayonne on Friday, Oct. 20 for breaking into vehicles, police said.
At 5:17 a.m., police responded to West 36th Street, on the report of two men, Xzavier Harris-Williams, a 21-year-old Jersey City resident and John Wilson, an 18-year-old Bayonne resident, attempting to break into vehicles, officers said. Police discovered Harris-Williams and Wilson had entered two parked vehicles and unsuccessfully attempted to enter two more.

A pair of men from Newark and a juvenile have been arrested in connection with an attempted vehicle break-in on the Jersey Shore, police said.
On Thursday, Jan. 27, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Marlboro police received a 9-1-1 call from a homeowner who said that two male subjects, dressed in black, were on his driveway attempting to enter his vehicle, said Capt. Stephen Levy, a police department spokesman.

Windows Smashed, Purses Stolen From Cars At The Edge In Fairfield
FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A man seen ducking between cars parked outside The Edge Fitness Club in Fairfield Sunday is suspected of breaking into three vehicles there, stealing more than $1,600 worth of purses and cash, police said.
A witness noticed the man at the fitness club, located at 500 Kings Highway Cutoff, at around 1 p.m., but only saw him from the back, police said. The suspect was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and light pants.
