Tornado Touches Down In Maryland (Developing)
A dangerous tornado touched down in Montgomery County on Wednesday night, officials confirmed.
At approximately 7:15 p.m. on June 5, the National Weather Service advised that a tornado was located in Poolsville moving east at approximately 20 mph in the area.

It was also expected to impact Germantown, Gaithersburg, Montgomery Village, North Potomac, Boyds, and other surrounding communities.

Tornado Watches, Warnings Issued Across Parts Of NJ
Several parts of New Jersey were under tornado watches and warnings, as per the National Weather Service on Saturday, April 1.
Burlington and Mercer counties were under a tornado warning until 7:15 p.m., while parts of Browns Mills, Fort Dix, Hamilton Square, Marlton, West Freehold and White Horse were under the warning until between 7:30 and 7:45 p.m.
Meanwhile, Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Salem, Somerset, Sussex and Warren counties were under a tornado watch until 10 p.m.

Tornado Warning Issued In Parts Of NJ
The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a tornado warning in parts of Mercer, Monmouth and Middlesex counties.
At 3:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 22, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Edinburg, or 7 miles east of Trenton, moving east at 45 mph, the NWS said.
Locations impacted include Hightstown, Cranbury, Roosevelt, Mercerville-Hamilton Square, Edinburg, Windsor, Twin Rivers, Clearbrook Park, Princeton Junction and Concordia.
People in those areas were advised to seek cover.
Thousands Without Power In CT; Areas Hardest Hit Are Where Tornado Warning Was In Effect
A storm system that swept through the area overnight has knocked out power to thousands in Connecticut.
The hardest hit were the areas in which a Tornado Warning was issued at around 4 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9: in Hartford, Tolland, and Windham counties. The warning has since been lifted.
Just before 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Eversource reported about 2,300 outages, with The Town of Putnam in Windham County having the most with 1,500, followed by Plainville (337), Glastonbury (134), and Coventry (122).

Thousands are without power in Westchester and Putnam as a line of severe storms battered the area with heavy downpours, damaging winds and hail just as the evening commute began on Tuesday.
As of 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, NYSEG reported 22,081 outages among its 32,806 customers in the areas it serves in Northern Westchester.
In Putnam, 27,705 of 38,310 customers were without power.
