Yonkers Restaurant X2O Xaviars Run By Chef Peter X. Kelly Closes
A picturesque restaurant on the Hudson River in Westchester run by an award-winning celebrity chef has closed, officials announced.
X2O Xaviars on the Hudson, located in Yonkers at 71 Water Grant St., is closed as of Sunday, Sept. 29, Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano said on Friday, Oct. 4.
According to Spano, the eatery, run by Chef Peter X. Kelly, ended its 20-year license with the city before closing. A reason for the closure was not released.
As of Monday, Oct. 7, the eatery's website was offline.

Bill's Luncheonette has been a Chester institution for 75 years, though the restaurant has seen better days.
The restaurant — which has previously served as a post office, vacuum repair outpost, and general store — announced on Friday, Aug. 30 that it would be closing for the foreseeable future.
