Fire Breaks Out At Marriott Hotel On Long Island A small fire at a Marriott Hotel on Long Island was contained to one room. The fire began around 4:47 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 6, at the hotel, located near the Nassau Coliseum at 101 James Doolittle Blvd., in Uniondale, said the Nassau County Police. The "small" fire was contained to a room on the third floor and no one was injured, police said. Several people were displaced and were being helped by the American Red Cross.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The multiple arrests took place from Tuesday, Nov. 5 to Wednesday, Nov. 6, in Uniondale at the Coliseum and the surrounding area, said the Nassau County Police.
