Stratford Man Nabbed For Murder Of 29-Year-Old Bridgeport Resident
A Fairfield County man has been charged in the shooting death of a 29-year-old man and the wounding of two others.
Joseph DeJesus, formerly known as Joseph Reyes, age 38, of Stratford, was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 25 for the Saturday, Oct. 8 shooting death of Dominique Jones, of Bridgeport, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran, of the Bridgeport Police.
DeJesus was apprehended by members of the US Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force, along with members of the Bridgeport and Stratford Police Department, Gilleran added.

Two Arrested, One For Stalking Ex-Girlfriend, Firing Gun At Her Vehicle, Police Say
Two Fairfield County men were arrested, one for allegedly stalking an ex-girlfriend and for a firing gunshot in the area of her home and vehicle.
The men, Ian Murray, 33, and Christopher Smeriglio, 34, both of Norwalk, were arrested by Wilton Police on Thursday, Jan. 7, following a report of shots fired, said Lt. Gregg Phillipson.

Two Men Nabbed For Firing Gun Out Of Vehicle Following Night Of Drinking, Police Say
Two area men were arrested for allegedly firing a gun out of a vehicle after a night of drinking.
Michael White, 31, of Seymour, and Kenneth Banks, 27, of Shelton, were arrested after turning themselves in to Shelton Police for the incident which took place on Jan. 22, said Shelton Police Det. Richard Bango.
According to Bango, Shelton Police received a complaint of shots fired in the area of Willoughby Road and Independence Drive.
When officers responded they recovered numerous spent shell casing near stop signs in the area, he said.
