Fighter Jets To Fly Over MetLife Stadium For Navy Vs. Notre Dame Football Game
The fleet of fighter jets that many people heard and saw as they flew into Teterboro Airport on Friday, Oct. 25 are expected to fly over MetLife Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 26. Five F/A-18s will be up in the air over the East Rutherford stadium just before kickoff, set for noontime, local police said. A 13-year-old boy was airlifted to the hospital after he was injured playing football on the evening of Saturday, Sept. 21, in Sussex County authorities said. At 8:11 p.m., the boy was playing football at Station Park in Sparta Township when he temporarily lost feeling in his legs, Sparta Township Police Captain Thomas Snyder said. An Atlantic Air helicopter transported the boy to Morristown Medical Center, Snyder said.
