4 Employees Busted Selling Minors E-Cigarettes At Long Island Businesses, Police Say
Over the span of about three hours, four employees at four separate shops on Long Island were arrested for allegedly selling vape products to minors, with police confiscating thousands of illegal products, authorities said.
Hardinger Singh, age 27, of Queens, sold a vape product to a minor at Lucky Spot Smoke Shop, located on Deer Park Avenue in North Babylon at approximately 4:20 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, and was arrested, police report.

It was conducted around 9:45 p.m. Friday, June 3 in at Yary’s Deli, located on New York Avenue in Huntington Station, in response to numerous community complaints, Suffolk County Police said.

Man Nabbed After Violent Robbery Of Long Island Jewelry Store, Police Say
A Long Island man has been arrested for allegedly walking into a Kay Jewelers store and smashing cases with a bat and grabbing jewels before fleeing the store, according to police.
The incident took place around 1:40 p.m. on Monday, March 8, in Hicksville, said the Nassau County Police.
According to detectives, John Hernandez, age 22, unknown address, entered Kay Jewelers, at 600 Broadway Mall withdrew a small bat, and began smashing the glass display cases.

A 39-year-old woman was arrested by police, but not without a fight, after allegedly hitting customers at a local store and then Town of Poughkeepsie police when they attempted to arrest her.
Rashina McKinnon, address unknown, was arrested around 1:52 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 4, after Town of Poughkeepsie police were called to the R&K Grocery at 737 Main St., said Capt. Michael O'Dowd.
When officers arrived on the scene, they learned that McKinnon had allegedly repeatedly hit customers and refused to leave the store, O'Dowd said.

A 22-year-old took officers in Orange County on a short chase before being taken into custody, police said.
Port Jervis police officers say they attempted to stop Rasheem Edwards, a parolee from Mount Vernon, while he was driving in the area on Friday, Sept. 6, when he committed a violation.
Rather than stop, police said that Edwards took off, failing to comply with the officers, taking them on a high-speed chase that led them into several nearby municipalities. Officers were eventually able to track Edwards down and he was taken into custody without further incident.

A 25-year-old man who gave officers a fake name after shoplifting has been charged, police say.
Officers with the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department say they received a larceny complaint at J.C. Penney in Galleria Mall (2001 South Road) on Friday, June 28.
Further investigation revealed that the suspect, identified as Dominique Hobbs, 25, of Newburgh, had fled the business on foot after stealing clothing, police say.
