Bucks Husband Sentenced To Prison For Giving Wife Fatal Fentanyl Dose: DA
The Bucks County husband who supplied his wife with a deadly dose of fentanyl will spend four to eight years in prison, a judge has ruled.
Ryan Shields, 40, of Fairless Hills, pleaded guilty to drug delivery resulting in death after his wife Amanda Shields fatally overdosed on fentanyl in August 2020, said the Bucks County District Attorney's Office in a statement Tuesday, Nov. 29.
According to investigators, the fentanyl was pressed into a pill the same size, shape, and color of a 30mg Percocet.

Bucks County Native Patrick Galloway Dies At 36 After 'Courageous' Battle With Cancer
Bucks County native Patrick R. Galloway died on Aug. 23 at the age of 36 after a courageous 10-month battle with cancer.
Galloway was a 2003 graduate of Conwell-Egan Catholic High School in Fairless Hills and later attended The American University in Washington, D.C., according to his obituary.
The Levittown resident's obit remembered him as an intelligent, passionate person.

A Bucks County man was arrested on various assault charges for choking his girlfriend to the point of unconsciousness at a motel in Fairless Hills Thursday, authorities said.
Officers responding to a report of a cardiac arrest, found Jamie Beighley, 36, lying on the floor of a room in New Falls Motel on Lincoln Highway with no pulse, and blood on her face, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's office.
