In the battle for takeout supremacy, a Long Island Chinese restaurant outpaces the competition, according to voters.
For the fourth year in a row, those voters on Best of Long Island have named The Orient in Bethpage the best Chinese takeout.
A quick look at the menu hints at why diners may be so keen.
Since 2002, The Orient has been serving a wide array of traditional Chinese and Chinese-American dishes like Kung Pao Chicken, Moo Shu Pork, and Young Chow Fried Rice.

'Bobby Wong's Tao House' Opens In Bergen County
New Tao-style restaurant ‘Bobby Wong’s Tao House’ is now open in Bergen County.
Located inside Rutherford tofu restaurant Ondubu, Bobby Wong’s specializes in “elevated Chinese” dishes including chicken, pork, beef, seafood and veggies.
Classic sides like yellow rice, sweet black rice, steamed broccoli and lomein are also available, as are the eatery’s famous dumplings and ‘Tao Bao Buns.’
Bobby Wong has been a restaurateur for more than 25 years and has owned and operated numerous eateries in the past, such as Village Gourmet, Taos, Mingnon and Delmonico, according to BoozyBurbs.

Hillsdale's Golden Dynasty For Sale
Chinese restaurant and lounge Golden Dynasty in Hillsdale is up for sale, reports say.
The 5,100 square foot facility, which has three floors and features a full kitchen and bar, LoopNet reports.
Opened in 1991, the restaurant’s has been temporarily closed with a menu including casual classic Chinese fare as well as cocktails, sushi and Cantonese food.
The building, located at 295 Kinderkamack Road, was put on the market May 4 and has plenty of parking, a full basement and the opportunity for a liquor license.
The building has an asking price of $1,850,000.
