Bogota PD: Traffic Stop Turns Up Loaded Gun
A traffic stop produced an illegal handgun and the arrests of two men, Bogota police said.
Officer Lewis Duenas stopped their Honda SUV on Elm Avenue around 9 p.m. Wednesday as part of a “Drive Sober Get Pulled Over, Sgt. Geoffrey Cole said.
The driver, Deondrey Ogletree, 26, reached for his paperwork, when backup Officer Matthew Luciano spotted the 9mm Taurus handgun in the glove compartment, the sergeant said.

It happened in a flash: A SWAT team stormed a South Hackensack motel, capturing two armed robbers and three drug dealers from Teaneck and Englewood who've been living there, authorities said.
South Hackensack detectives were preparing to hit two rooms following a series of undercover drug deals when a legitimate 30-year-old customer told them that two other men living in a third room had robbed him, authorities said.

Found! Bogota Girl, 15, Found In Brooklyn, Nypd Arrests Friend, 18, Boyfriend
A missing 15-year-old Bogota girl was found in a Brooklyn hotel room Saturday with an 18-year-old friend and the woman's boyfriend, said police, who reunited the youngster with her mother.
Celestial Gordon and the couple "were just hanging out," Sgt. Geoffrey Cole told Daily Voice.
Gordon's friend, Lamiah Munns, and her boyfriend were charged by city police with child endangerment.
Bogota police, meanwhile, brought Celestial's mother to Brooklyn for a reunion with her daughter.
Gordon was last seen in Bogota with Munns around 9 p.m. Friday, authorities said.
