Driver Wanted For Kennett Square Hit-Run, Police Say Kennett Square police are searching for a driver who they said fled the scene of an accident on Thursday, May 9.  A man in a white Chrysler 200 pulled onto Center Street from Scarlett Alley and struck another car after running the stop sign on West Cypress Street, according to authorities.  He "pulled over and briefly interacted with the other vehicle" before leaving the scene, police said. The crash occurred at about 7:30 a.m. on Friday, May 10 northbound near Exit 4 (Durham Road) in South Plainfield, according to New Jersey State Police. Troopers responded to a motorist aid, said Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron, a State Police spokesman. Upon the trooper’s arrival, a Freightliner box truck ran off the road and into a ditch, he said. There were no injuries reported, Lebron said. Initially, the 2100 block of Market Street was "closed to vehicles and pedestrians," the Camp Hill police stated in a release at 2:58 p.m. on May 9.
