Bus Hits Pedestrian In North Philadelphia: SEPTA
One person was hospitalized after being struck by a bus in Philadelphia's Hunting Park on Monday night, May 27. SEPTA said it happened near the corner of 13th Street and Erie Avenue around 9 p.m. The pedestrian was hit by the left side mirror of a Route 56 bus, according to transit officials. "The pedestrian was taken to the hospital in critical condition, however, the injuries are reported to be non-life threatening," a spokesperson said. No one on the bus was injured, they added.

The construction of a new pedestrian and bicycle bridge over the New York Thruway is set to cause a series of lane reductions on a busy main route in Westchester for six weeks, officials said. Carbon County Motorcyclist, 33, Killed In Whitehall Crash: Coroner
Authorities are investigating the crash that killed a Penn Forest man on Thursday night, May 23. James J. Gallagher, 33, was riding his motorcycle on Fullerton Avenue in Whitehall when he lost control and struck a curb, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg where he died from multiple traumatic injuries around 8:50 p.m., the Coroner said. His manner of death was ruled accidental.
