One of two suspects wanted for allegedly dumping more than 100 tires in a Connecticut town last year has been charged by police.
Fairfield County resident Lavon Spradley, age 22, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Friday, Jan. 26 for the Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, incident in New Haven County in Naugatuck.
An investigation revealed a series of events involving a U-Haul truck and the disposal of tires at multiple locations, the Naugatuck Police said.

Burglar Makes Failed Escape In Bright Orange U-Haul After Billerica Storage Unit Heist: Cops
A man who tried to break into a storage facility in Billerica has been arrested by K9 troopers after leading state police on a high-speed chase, while driving a U-Haul van and wearing an orange ski mask.
Alexander Encarnacion, 29, of Providence, Rhode Island, was driving a 2008 Ford Econoline U-Haul van when he, and other people in a sedan, tried to break into a Billerica storage unit on Monday, Jan. 15, at 10:30 p.m., the facility’s manager said.

Saugerties Duo Nabbed For Burglary At Warehouse, Police Say
Two Hudson Valley men were nabbed for allegedly stealing six German-made cabinets from a warehouse.
The burglary took place in Greene County around 5:15 p.m., on Monday, Aug. 22 in the town of Cario.
The owner of the property informed state police that six German-made cabinets were missing from the warehouse, said Trooper Steven Nevel.
During the investigation, troopers learned that the cabinets were removed from the warehouse and placed into a U-Haul, Nevel said.
