MD Man, 47, Sent Sexually Explicit Texts To Child In Woodbridge: Cops
A 47-year-old Maryland man is accused of sending sexually-explicit messages to a minor earlier this year in Prince William County, authorities said.
Lamar Bobby Hopkins, of Oxon Hill, MD, was an acquaintance of the victim who received the disturbing texts in February 2023, in Woodbridge, Prince William County police said.
A family member found the messages and contacted police. Following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for Hopkins.

Murder-Suicide Attempt: Man Stabs GF Dead In Maryland Business, Tries To Kill Himself, PD Says
A woman is dead after she was stabbed by her partner in an attempted murder-suicide while working in a Maryland business on Tuesday afternoon, March 5, police said.
Prince George’s County Police were called to the 4900 block of Camp Springs around 12:30 p.m. and found Yesenia Jaramillo Sosa, 39, of Oxon Hill, with multiple stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect, John Marin Morales, 42, of Oxon Hill, was also found with stab wounds and was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Stalker Follows Woman Home From MGM Casino Parking Lot, Assaults Her In Virginia: Cops
A 29-year-old man was arrested for following a woman from a casino parking lot in Maryland to her home in Fairfax County, VA, where he assaulted her and tried breaking into her home, police said.
Antiero Ebai Menyoli, of Oxon Hill, MD, approached the woman, a complete stranger, as she left the MGM National Harbor and spoke briefly, before the woman got into her car and drove home, Fairfax County police said.
While driving, the victim noticed a vehicle was following her due to one headlight being brighter than the other. She suspected it to be Menyoli.

Charles Washington, Jr., 31, and Antonio Jackson, 32, both of Washington, DC, have been charged with multiple counts of murder in connection to the killings of Derrick Graham and DeAngelo Moore in Oxon Hill.

Friends and family are mourning the loss of Deangelo Moore, a father and entrepreneur who was gunned down in Prince George's County after making painstaking efforts to turn his life around after some trouble with the law.
