Northern State Parkway In Westbury To Close: Here's When, Where
Transportation officials announced a new set of closures on the Northern State Parkway on Long Island that will last for weeks. Beginning on Monday, April 15, and lasting for around seven weeks, the eastbound Northern State Parkway will be closed between the Meadowbrook State Parkway and the Wantagh State Parkway in Westbury, according to the New York State Department of Transportation. Coroner Names Driver Killed In Lehigh County Crash
Eighty-four-year-old Helen R. Werley died after her car struck another vehicle in Lynn Township on Thursday, April 11, according to the Lehigh County Coroner. Officials said Werley, of Weisenberg Township, died from multiple blunt-force injuries. The manner of death was accidental. The crash happened near the intersection of Schochary Road and Kistler Valley Road around 3:45 p.m. and Werley was pronounced dead at the scene, the Coroner's Office added.

Condolences are flooding in following the death of a 38-year-old woman on the PA Turnpike. Kelly M. Little, 38, was stopped in the right westbound lane in Clay Township around 2 a.m. on Thursday, April 11, when she was struck by a tractor trailer, police said in a news release.
