Good Karma: Florida Truck Driver Wins Pick 3 Lottery Ticket On Drive Through Virginia A Florida trucker returned to Virginia to claim the lottery prize he'd won on a recent trip. Lamar Howard, of Orlando, FL, was passing through Virginia when he stopped and bought three Pick 3 tickets at the Love’s Travel Stop at 5021 Lee Highway outside Warrenton, lottery officials said.  While he was there, he helped another trucker who was having a difficult time. That’s not unusual, since Howard says he enjoys volunteering and helping other people. So maybe it was karma when Howard won $700 in that night’s Pick 3 drawing. Arrest Made In Deadly Fair Haven Gas Station Shooting A 44-year-old Washington DC man has been arrested in connection with a deadly Fairfax County shooting, authorities said. Doniel Drake is accused of gunning down Arthur Edward Mann II, 38, at the Citgo station on Richmond Highway just after 6 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21, county police said. Mann and Drake had been arguing at the gas pump prior to the shooting, police said. Drake was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he was charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony. He was held without bond, police said.

Man Charged In Murder Of Wife, Mother-In-Law In Philadelphia Home: Report Police have made an arrest in the killings of a mother and daughter in Philadelphia earlier this week. Angela Trejo, 75, and Alma Barberena, 58, were found dead in the basement of a Bingham Street home around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, police said. They had both suffered stab wounds and pronounced dead at then scene 15 minutes later. Leandro Barberena, 43, of Disston Street, was taken into custody and charged with two counts of murder and related offenses, police said. The victims were identified as Berberena's wife and mother-in-law in a 6abc news report.
