Cara Wolfe Of Fredericksburg Dies Suddenly On Christmas: Obituary
Cara Wolfe of Fredericksburg died suddenly on Monday, Dec. 25.
Cara, who was 46 years old, had been battling a bacterial infection, according to her obituary on the Covenant Funeral Home website.
Born in Hershey, PA, Cara went on to earn a degree in computer information systems from Strayer University and had recently been working as a pharmacy tech at CVS, her obit says.
The mom of two loved spending time with her children, Natalie, and son, Declan, her obit says.

Woman Steals Car, Runs Over Owner In Parking Lot At Lake Ronkonkoma Church, Police Say
A woman has been accused of stealing a car and running over the vehicle's owner in the parking lot of a Long Island church.
The incident happened around 6:45 p.m. Saturday, April 23 in Lake Ronkonkoma, Suffolk County Police said.
That's when a 73-year-old St. James woman drove her 2013 Chevrolet Spark into the parking lot of St. Mary’s Church, located at 315 Lake Shore Drive, parked near the clothing bins and exited the vehicle with the motor running, according to police.

For Greenwich's Joseph LoPresto, 82, Only Open Air, Fresh Seas Were Needed For A Good Time
Joseph LoPresto, a resident of Greenwich, died on May 29. He was 82 years old.
Born in Port Chester on June 20, 1938, he was the son of Joseph and Margret (nee Lonzo) LoPresto.
Joe graduated from Port Chester High School in 1956. A year after graduation, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and proudly served for six years. Joe then went on to spend the majority of his career working for Avon Products in Rye as part of its IT support staff.
He was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Port Chester, where he married his love of 59 years, Carol.

Ex-Hudson Valley Resident Allegedly Beaten To Death By Parents To Be Buried
A 10-year-old girl who spent the first seven years of her life in the Hudson Valley, will be buried Saturday in Newburgh after allegedly being beaten to death by her mother and step-father.
Sharon Carrillo, 33, and Julio Carrillo, 51, were arrested on Feb. 28 in Stockton Springs, Maine, for murder after they beat Middletown native Marissa Kennedy on a daily basis, causing injuries that killed her on Feb. 25, the Bangor Daily News reported.
According to the police affidavit, the Carrillos failed to take Marissa to a hospital after she stopped walking and couldn’t speak following a beating. P…
