Man Shot In Newark: Police A man was shot in Newark on the evening of Monday, June 10, authorities said. At 6:26 p.m., police responded to Vanderpool Street near Sherman Avenue and found a man who had been shot, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. He was transported to University Hospital and is in critical but stable condition, Fragé said. The shooting remains under investigation, Fragé said.

Prosecutor Identifies Bloomfield Man As Victim Killed In Route 46 Crash Gerard Calcagno, a 55-year-old Bloomfield resident, was killed when he was struck by a vehicle on Route 46 in Parsippany on Thursday, June 6, authorities said. At 9:50 p.m., Calcagno was struck near 1429 Route 46 by a 2015 Dodge Journey traveling eastbound, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said. Calcagno was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. The driver remained on scene, authorities said. 30-Year-Old Man Followed Women At Route 46 Target A 30-year-old Allamuchy man was recently charged with trespassing after he returned to a Target on Route 46 after being ordered to leave, authorities said. The man, who was not identified by officers, had been following women around the Hackettstown Target and behaving in an inappropriate manner, Washington Township police said in a release. He was released pending a court appearance, police said.
