A Jeep driver and passenger were hospitalized after the vehicle veered off a Hunterdon County roadway, hit a utility pole, and flipped through a ditch on Wednesday, August 16, responders said.
Raritan Township Police responded to a report of “screeching tires” and a power outage near Old Croton Road at Minebrook Park in Raritan Township just before 10:35 p.m., according to the Flemington-Raritan First Aid and Rescue Squad.

Car Drives Into Bethesda House, Two Sustain Traumatic Injuries
Two people are in the hospital after crashing into a house in Bethesda, authorities say.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue crews were called to the 8300 block of Thoreau Drive near Whittier Boulevard around 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 11.
Rescue crews arrived to find the vehicle crashed into the home, and were able to remove the two occupants.
