Spotsy Triple Murder Victims Identified
Police have released the identities of the three people believed killed by their roommate in Spotsylvania this week.
Alyssa Venable, 23, remains at large in connection with the deadly shooting of her three roommates, who were found dead in their White Street Court home on Tuesday, June 4.
The sheriff's office identified the victims as Robert John McGuire 77, Gregory Scott Powell, 60, and, Carol Anne Reese, 65. They were found by deputies performing a welfare check having suffered upper-body trauma, authorities said previously.

A midday call came into the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office on Friday, Dec. 1 regarding a possibly drunk driver who was in the area of Orange Plank Road near the Orange County Line, officials said on Wednesday.

No Christmas season from the 1980s through the 2000s was ever complete for the Silvrants family without a trip to Ho Ho Ho Land in Fredericksburg.

Spotsylvania Murder: Husband Shot Wife Multiple Times, Sheriff Says
A man killed his wife on Wednesday, Oct. 4 in Virginia, authorities said.
Patsy C. Howard, 85, was found having suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body around 10:30 p.m. in a home on the 4000 block of Bonnie Brae Court in Spotsylvania, the county sheriff's office said.
Patsy was pronounced dead at Mary Washington Hospital and her husband, David C. Howard, 85, was charged with second-degree murder and use of use of firearm in the commission of a felony.
David Howard was lodged in the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.

Quamel Hawkins, 26, of Fredericksburg, was a passenger in the vehicle driven by Jaquan Mincy, 23, of Spotsylvania, when a Fredericksburg police officer stopped them on Tuesday, Sept. 26 on Fall Hill Avenue, FXB police said.
