FDA Warns Against Microdosed' Chocolate After PA Resident Sickened
Consumers should avoid Diamond Shruumz branded chocolate, cones, and gummies, federal regulators say.
Twelve people, including one Pennsylvania resident, became sick after eating Diamond Shruumz products, which according to the company's website contain a "proprietary blend of nootropic and functional mushrooms."
The Food and Drug Administration said consumers reported a variety of symptoms including seizures, central nervous system depression (loss of consciousness, confusion, sleepiness), agitation, abnormal heart rates, hyper/hypotension, nausea, and vomiting.

Man Electrocuted, Second Injured At Bellmore Ice Skating Rink
A man was electrocuted while working at an ice rink on Long Island in an incident that required him to be airlifted and left a second person injured.
The Bellmore incident occurred on Friday, June 14, Nassau County Police said.
At about 11:30 a.m., a 62-year-old man was working in the electrical service room of 2600 Newbridge Road, the site of the Newbridge Arena.
While he was working, he got electrocuted, causing burns on his arms and stomach.
A second man, age 39, attempted to help him, however, he suffered burns to his arm while doing so.

Driver Ejected From Vehicle In Route 80 Crash: Njsp
A 40-year-old Connecticut man was seriously injured when he was ejected from his vehicle in a crash on Route 80 in Morris County early Thursday morning, March 14, authorities said.
At 12:59 a.m., a Volvo traveling eastbound on Route 80 in Mount Arlington lost directional control, ran off the roadway to the left, struck the concrete barrier, re-entered the lanes of travel, ran off the roadway to the right, struck a guardrail, overturned and then crashed into a tree, Troy McNair, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
