Boyfriend Killed Woman In Haverhill Murder-Suicide: Report
A new report says that a Rhode Island man was responsible for the death of his girlfriend before shooting himself in Haverhill on Sunday, March 3.
Loren Marino, 24, of Haverhill, and Austin Amaral, 24, of North Providence, Rhode Island, were found shot to death at a home at 195 Broadway when police were called to perform a welfare check, the Essex County District Attorney said.
MassLive reported that Amaral was the one who pulled the trigger, according to the prosecutor's office.

A 30-year-old Salem man was behind bars on felony drug charges along with a woman after he allegedly got angry during a traffic dispute and pulled a handgun, authorities said.
Bryan Brito, 30, and Sandra Pimental, 58, both of Salem, are charged with trafficking in cocaine — more than 200 grams — and trafficking in cocaine — 18 grams or more— respectively, the Essex County District Attorney announced. Brito also faces assault with a dangerous weapon (handgun), vandalizing property, and possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug.

A 71-year-old woman pleaded guilty Tuesday, Aug. 15, to driving into and killing one of the family members who owned the Byfield Greenhouse and Garden Center last year, authorities said.
Janet Bach, of Marblehead, was given an 18-month suspended sentence and three years probation after pleading guilty to motor vehicle homicide, the Essex County District Attorney said. Murder Indictment: 3rd Man Charged In Killing Of Lawrence Man In 2022
A Boston man was indicted this week with the murder of a Lawrence man in 2022, authorities announced on Wednesday, May 17.
Lee Harvey, 30, of Roslindale, was charged with robbing and killing 32-year-old Jose Delacruz outside of a Bank of America at 257 Essex St. in Lawrence on March 27, 2022, the Essex County District Attorney said.
The grand jury also returned indictments against Harvey on charges of carrying a firearm, carrying a loaded firearm, and armed robbery while masked, the prosecutor said.

Man Guilty In 2020 Haverhill Stabbing Murder; Faces Life In Prison: DA
A Merriman man was convicted on Thursday, April 13, of stabbing a man to death during an armed robbery gone wrong, authorities said.
Kaiden Henderson, 21, was found guilty of first-degree murder in the killing of 26-year-old Jose Vasquez in 2020, the Essex County District Attorney said. Vasquez was killed on Nov. 21 in his Marble Street home in Haverhill.
