ID Released For Local Man Struck, Killed By Vehicle In New City
The identity of a man struck and killed by a vehicle on a busy Hudson Valley roadway has been released by police.
Rockland County resident Steven Semoff, age 64, was struck and killed at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 6 in the area of North Little Tor Road and Tor Terrace in New City, said Detective Norm Peters of the Clarkstown Police.
The first arriving officers found Semoff laying on the southbound shoulder of North Little Tor Road, Peters said.
Semoff, a resident of New City, was pronounced dead at the scene, he added.

Augustus Clemont Harris was found in the 5300 block of Sidney Road in Mt. Airy around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, according to a Tweet from the Frederick County Sheriff's Office.

Rockland County Man Arrested For Trying To Hit Relative With Vehicle
Stony Point Police arrested a man after a report of a dispute in which a woman was grazed by a vehicle, according to Stony Point Police.
Anthony Malizia, 17, of Washingtonville, was arrested Thursday, Feb. 1, for menacing after police responded to Franck Road for a report of a dispute, said Lt. Daniel Hylas.
