A drunk Wakefield man is facing multiple charges after he got into a physical fight with Primark security, tried to steal something from the store, and then threatened to blow up the building when he lost, authorities said.
Williams Rodriguez-Juarez, 24, is charged with unarmed robbery, making a bomb or hijack threat, assault and battery on a police officer, strangulation or suffocation, trespassing, resisting arrest, and three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon (shod foot), the Suffolk County District Attorney said. Police Shootout: Montclair Officer, Suspect Both Shot In Exchange Of Gunfire, Prosecutor Says
A police officer and suspect were both injured in a shooting on Monday, April 15, authorities said.
An individual in a residence began shooting at a police officer on the 100 block of Forest Street, Thomas Fennelly, a spokesman for the Essex County Prosecutors Office said. The officer was hit but was able to return fire, striking the suspect, Fennelly aid.
The officer and suspect were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Fennelly said. The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating, Fennelly said.

A Prince George's County Police officer has been suspended following his arrest on Friday morning for a domestic incident, the department announced.
Cpl. David Hardester, of Mechanicsville, has been charged with multiple offenses, including attempted murder in Charles County and with second-degree assault in St. Mary’s County following an incident at his home.
According to the Prince George's County Police Department, Hardester, 42, shot at a man using his assigned duty weapon in Charles County on Friday, Feb. 23, though the man was uninjured.

A police car en route to a suspected crime scene crashed at an intersection in Berkshire County Sunday afternoon, Oct. 15, injuring four people, including a grandmother, her grandchildren, and a Pittsfield police officer, authorities said.
Two Pittsfield police officers were driving to a reported disturbance off Cheshire Road just before 4:30 p.m. with lights and sirens on, Pittsfield authorities said. As they passed through the intersection of Coltsville and Cheshire, the cruiser slammed into a Jeep Wrangler crossing the intersection.

A former police officer at several municipalities in Westchester and Dutchess counties has been convicted for the murders of four men in Orange County after a drug deal that went bad.
According to an indictment that was filed in White Plains Federal Court, Nicholas Tartaglione killed Martin Luna, age 41, Urbano Santiago, age 32, Miguel Luna, age 25, and Hector Gutierrez, 43, at the Likquid Lounge in the town of Chester in Orange County following the botched cocaine deal in April 2016.
