Unresponsive Man At New Jersey LA Fitness Revived By Officers, Bystander: Secaucus PD
A quick-thinking bystander and three Secaucus police officers helped save a life at LA Fitness on Saturday, Dec. 16, police said.
At 10:03 a.m., police responded to LA Fitness at 485 Harmon Meadow Boulevard on a report of an unresponsive male, who was not breathing, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said.
Juan Germosen, a bystander, began performing CPR, Miller said.

A man was charged with assault after allegedly punching another man in the face at a Long Island gym and then fighting with, and injuring, police officers attempting to arrest him.
The incident took place in New Hyde Park around 3:50 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 2 at the LA Fitness located on Marcus Avenue.
According to Nassau County Police detectives, officers responded to the gym for a report of a man bleeding.

Months after a shooting sent patrons fleeing a Long Island gym, police have arrested the man who pulled the trigger, authorities said.
Orane Davis, age 25, of Queens, was arrested for attempted murder Thursday, Jan. 26, following an investigation by Nassau County Police.
Detectives were initially called at around 9 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, 2022 with reports of a shooting at the LA Fitness in New Hyde Park, located on Marcus Avenue.

A Fairfield County man wanted in connection with an alleged drive-by shooting that injured an innocent bystander was nabbed after agents spotted him on a city street.

UPDATE: Morgan Panzer, a 19-year-old Bergen Community College freshman from Nutley whose parents reported her missing on Wednesday, was found Friday evening in Clifton, a family member confirmed.
