Driver, 30, Dies, 6-Year-Old Front Seat Passenger Critical In Fauquier County Crash
A 30-year-old man died and his 6-year-old front seat front seat passenger seriously hurt in a Fauquier County crash over the weekend, police said.
Joshua A Farmer, of Amissville, was airlifted to INOVA Fairfax after rear-ending a Freightliner tractor-trailer that was stopped at a red light in a 2017 Honda Accord, just before 6 p.m. on Route 29 (Lee Highway) on Sunday, May 19, Virginia State Police said.
Farmer was not wearing a seatbelt. A 6-year-old girl in the front seat was not in a proper child restraint device, police said. She was taken to Fauquier Health for treatment.

Teens Charged With Murdering 36-Year-Old Man During NYE Capitol Heights Robbery: Police
Two suspects have been charged with the murder of a 36-year-old man during a New Year’s Eve robbery in Maryland, authorities announced.
Bilal Ansariddeen, 18, Bowie, and Kiemontey Jenifer, of Washington, DC, were charged with first- and second-degree murder and other offenses, Prince George’s County Police said Monday, Feb. 12.
Ansariddeen and Jenifer are accused of shooting Nelson Bonilla-Reyes, 36, of Capitol Heights, who was found wounded from gunfire near the 1400 block of Dunbar Oaks Drive around 10:30 p.m.
He was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.

Prince George's County Scammers Accused Of Stealing $5M In Checks From The Mail: Feds
A group of five from Maryland has been indicted by a federal grand jury in connection to an alleged multi-million dollar stolen check scam in the region.
On Monday, authorities announced that five people - all from Prince George's County - will face charges for a fraud scheme that saw them take more than 600 checks with a face value greater than $5 million.

A pair of winning Powerball tickets worth $1 million and $50,000 were sold in the same county in Maryland.
