Fairfax Rapist Arrested Year Later, Police Say A 30-year-old man has been arrested in a Northern Virginia rape nearly a year after the incident, police said. Kwabena Yeboah, of Bristow, is accused of sexually assaulting a woman he met on June 15, 2023, police in Fairfax said. Yeboah was arrested and charged with rape on June 10, 2024, and held in the Fairfax County Jail.

Body Found In Alexandria Hospital Parking Lot, Mercedes Benz Sought, Police Say Police are investigating a death in the parking lot of the Inova Alexandria Hospital. A man having suffered gunshot wounds was found in the parking lot of the hospital at 4320 Seminary Road, police said on Wednesday morning, June 12. Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in tracking down the vehicle  believed to be involved: A 2008, dark gray, 4-door, Mercedes Benz C class. The Virginia tag on the vehicle is RX22K.  Anyone who sees it is urged to call 9-1-1.

A man later identified as Deonte Driver went into a business on the 700 block of N. Glebe Road around 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, county police said. Driver allegedly took and hid items in a basket, and began to leave without paying. Luis Hernandez, 26, and Youthana Inthirath, 54, were both arrested on June 10, police said. Hernandez allegedly swiped multiple items from CVS when he was confronted by an employee at the Fairfax Boulevard store, police said. Hernandez punched the employee multiple times, caused extensive damage to the store, and fled with stolen items, according to police. Cops Identify DUI Drivers In Crash That Injured VSP Trooper On I-495 Virginia State Police have identified the two DUI drivers involved in a crash on I-495 that hospitalized a trooper. The trooper was dispatched to a sedan in a northbound lane around 3 a.m. to help a sedan that had stopped near Exit 52 in Fairfax County, a spokesperson for the VSP said. The sedan's driver, Erica D.
