South Jersey Man, 33, Killed In Head-On School Bus Collision

A 33-year-old man from Galloway Township was killed in a head-on collision with a school bus, authorities said.

Thomas Malinowski was driving north on Pitney Road when his vehicle struck a school bus hearing south near Quail High Boulevard and East Collins Road on Wednesday, Galloway police said.

Malinowski’s Mitsubishi Outlander was pushed off the road into a wooded area, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The bus driver, Gualberto Jimenez, 53, of Galloway, and two student passengers escaped serious injury.
